Frequently Asked Questions

While not required we do recommend that you make them to guarantee your visit to La Summa. We often fill up, especially on the weekends, and while we hate to turn anyone away and always do our best to accommodate everyone, our reservations do have priority over walk ins.  

We always do our best to accommodate large parties but of course it depends on the size / time / day. 

If you are interested in making a reservation for more than 6 people, give us a call or send us an email and we will be in touch as soon as we can.  

La Summa does not have a full bar for you to sit and enjoy a drink at. While we have a liquor license and do serve alcohol, we are only allowed to serve beer, wine, and cordials/liqueurs. However, we have put together an array of exquisite cocktails for you to choose from.

La Summa does offer gluten free pasta. In fact, we are now offering a gluten free menu for our gluten sensitive patrons to choose from. You can find it here.

Please keep in mind, while we offer a gluten free menu, our kitchen is not exclusively gluten free which means there is still a risk for cross contamination.

La Summa does not have an official dress code. As long as you are comfortable and are dressing appropriately for being out in public that’s all we care about. As they say, “ No shirt, no shoes, no service.”

We do not offer valet parking.

We currently do not validate for any parking garages.

Right across the street there is 2 hour parking available but it is often full. Alternatively there are many parking lots / garages at the end of our street as well as some metered parking spots. These are located on Commercial Street/ Atlantic Avenue. The metered spots are $2 for two hours and the lots / garages are typically around $20.

You are more than welcome to bring your own cake to La Summa. We will keep it in our refrigerator until your party is ready for dessert and if the restaurant is not overly busy we will even cut it for you when it is ready to be served.
